The views from here are impressive and provide great opportunities to take unforgettable photos.
After crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m), you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed village of Ait Ben Haddou.
This architectural masterpiece has been used as the perfect backdrop for the photography of many national and international celebrities such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, Kingdom of Heaven and many more. After lunch, you will continue on the road to Dades Valley via Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa), the palm oasis of Skoura and the Valley of Roses.

After breakfast at your riad/hotel, you will head north to the spiritual city of Fez. You will have a short break to take photos of the panoramic palm valley of Ziz.
Crossing the administrative city of Errachidia, then the impressive Ziz Gorge before having lunch in Midelt. Drive through the lush Middle Atlas Mountains with a UNESCO-preserved cedar forest that hosts a colony of endangered Barbary monkeys that you can see and even feed.
You’ll then stretch your legs in the charming city of Ifrane (often called the Moroccan-Swiss version city). You will arrive in Fez in the late afternoon.

Now, it’s time to enter the vibrant and authentic city of Fes El Bali. You will visit local museums, and pass ancient madrassas (Quranic schools) including the University and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque (the oldest university in the Islamic world). Visit the Shawara Tanneries where you can learn how leather is made using traditional methods and ingredients. Your guided tour will take you to your riad in the late afternoon.
After breakfast at your riad, you will continue on the trail north with a wonderful drive through the stunning Rif Mountains offering amazing views.
We will include several breaks for you to relax and take photos. Pass through Ouazzane before arriving at the blue-painted city of Chefchaouen in the late afternoon. You may want to stretch your legs in the evening to get your first glimpse of this unique and charming city.

Today you will spend most of your day wandering the blue streets of Chefchaouen, starting with the lively Hammam Ota, located in the heart of the city. You may want to visit the Kasbah (Citadel) where you can learn that it is the reason Chefchaouen was founded by the warrior Moulay Ali Ben Rashid to organize attacks against the Portuguese and Spanish invaders.
Continue on the path to Ras El Ma Spring, which offers stunning views with local women washing clothes and rugs. You may want to take a short walk up to the mosque where you can get a full view of the old city of Chefchaouen.
In the afternoon, you may want to have lunch at one of the local restaurants in Wata Al-Hamam Square while watching passersby and savoring the unique cultural lifestyle.
