The 7 days ay tour begins with an early pickup from the airport or your accommodation in fes. Then we go to visit Meknes, the capital of Ismailia and one of the imperial cities. We visit: Bab al-Mansour, the Suani Cistern Basin, the royal stables, the granary and also the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Free time for lunch. We will then travel 30 km from Meknes to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is so well preserved that it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, in addition to ancient columns and arches.
After hiking among the ruins, we head north through Ouazzane to reach Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. It is also known as the Blue City. The city is famous for its blue-painted buildings and alleys. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, feel free to walk around the Blue City. Then we head to Rabat through the Rif Mountains. The city of Rabat is one of the imperial cities in Morocco, and its current capital. It is located in northwest Morocco on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. You will visit the most prominent landmarks of the city. Including: Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we depart from Rabat and head along the coast to Casablanca. The city is considered the economic center and largest city in Morocco. First we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque on the continent. Then we visit Casablanca Corniche. Finally, we drove to Marrakech, the red city and one of the imperial cities. Feel free to wander around the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
After a warm breakfast, we will explore the highlights of Marrakesh with a local guide. The visit includes: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Al-Quran Mosque. And also take a walk in the largest traditional market in Morocco. Free time to have lunch near Jemaa El Fna Square. Then you will visit the largest Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakesh, and also the Majorelle Garden. Finally, go to your accommodation. Feel free to tour Jemaa el Fna on your own.
We pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakesh early in the morning. Then drive through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. After that, we continue to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The fortified village is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The Kasbah also appeared in many films, including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. and TV series including Game of Thrones. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants in the area. Then we head to the “Desert Gate ” and Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we will take you to visit one of the studios where different films were filmed. Then continue to Rose Valley. The Rose Festival is held annually in May, where locals offer their roses. Next we visited the Todra Gorge, where the course of the Todra River has carved a high, red valley into the side of a cliff through the mountains. Feel free to wander through the valleys and enjoy the beauty of the landscape.
Then we continue our way through Torog, Tinjdad and Erfoud. After that we reach the Merzouga desert. You will turn into a camel to cross the sandy desert. After that, you will stop at the top of a high sand dune to enjoy the sunset. Then continue to the camp. Where you can enjoy Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire, under a wide-open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight in the desert camp.
On the last day of the 7-day tour. Wake up early in the morning to watch the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time to have breakfast, then return on the camels to Merzouga where the driver is waiting.
Then we leave the desert to visit the city of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a major commercial center in the region, with a large, lively market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a stroll through the Rissani market, we continue on our way to Erfoud where we visit one of the petrified marble workshops.
Next, we walk along the Zez River, stopping for a panoramic view of the Zez Valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live.
