This amazing 4 days from Tangier to Marrakech through the Sahara is a blast! You will enjoy the tour very much, and not only will you visit beautiful places such as Chefchaouen, Merzouga Desert, and Ait Ben Haddou. You will enjoy the experience of riding a camel in Erg Chebbi at sunset, and you will spend the night in wonderful Berber-style tents.
Our 4-day private Tangier tour to Marrakech starts via Merzouga with hotel pick-up. On the first day, we head directly towards the city of Chefchaouen, “the blue pearl of the north or the blue city as people like to call it.”
We are sure that you will be amazed by the extravagant beauty and charm of its narrow streets decorated with green plants and red roses. We will also take a long walk beside the generous running river of this beautiful city, and drink mint tea in the large square called “Plaza Uta El Hammam”. After lunch we will head towards Fez to rest and prepare for the desert road.
Today, after eating a completely healthy breakfast, we will head towards our favorite destination, the Merzouga Desert, through the High and Central Atlas Mountains, with an attractive view of nature.
Then we visit the city of Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” We will drive through Azrou, cross the Ziz Valley and visit Midelt, then the excavations in Erfoud.
We take you to Merzouga, where we cross the Sahara Desert on a popular camel ride. We will spend the night in a desert camp under the bright stars after having dinner and enjoying some Berber music.
Our tour continues into the Tangier Desert and we sit atop the sand dunes to witness the stunning sunrise in Merzouga.
Then we start the camel trip to the village of Merzouga, and from there we will head towards Rissani and explore Tafilalet, where the Moroccan Alawite dynasty originally descends. We will travel to the Todgha Gorge and also visit the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a riad.
In the morning we will explore the Valley of Roses, then Skoura and visit a film studio in Ouarzazate. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, where we visit the local kasbah, one of the most famous fortified cities in the world.
We will cross Mount Tizi N’Tichka and drive to your accommodation in Marrakesh. End of our services, 4-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Desert.
