Our local guide will make a complete visit to Marrakech, revealing the red city’s hidden gems and cultural treasures. A knowledgeable local guide will lead us to explore the UNESCO-listed Medina, a maze of narrow alleys filled with colorful souks, traditional riads and architectural wonders.

As we venture through the bustling Jemaa El Fna square, we explore the lively atmosphere, with snake charmers, street performers and storytellers captivating passersby. Discover the intricate beauty of Bahia Palace, decorated with stunning courtyards and intricate tile work, reflecting the richness of Moroccan architecture.

Stroll through the aromatic spice markets and browse the lively souks, where skilled artisans display their handcrafts, from leather goods to ceramics and traditional textiles. Engage your senses as you admire the vibrant colors, intricate patterns and exquisite craftsmanship. After that you will have free time and spend the night in Marrakesh.

Day 3: Marrakech – Boumalne Dades

We meet at your place of residence in Marrakesh. We begin by crossing the High Atlas Mountains, passing through many charming Berber villages on the way, and climbing to the highest peak of Tikka, where there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the stunning and picturesque views of the High Atlas Mountains.

We will visit Kasbah Telouet, built in the 18th century. This magnificent stronghold was the residence of the influential Glaoui family, which played an important role in Moroccan politics. We will also visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous 17th century castle designated by UNESCO, to preserve and protect this famous site. Over the years, her fame has been built on her appearances in films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia.

You will have lunch at a restaurant near Kasbah. The journey takes you through the city of Skoura, through the Valley of Roses towards Kelaat M’Gouna, and finally entering Boumalne Dades, where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Boumalne Dades – Merzouga Desert

Our trip will be a scenic one towards the picturesque Todra Valley in Tinerhir. The stunning views of the gorge and its flowing river make it a sought-after destination for hikers. As you continue your journey, you will pass through the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani, each offering unique glimpses into local culture and heritage.

As the journey ends at the edge of the desert, prepare for an extraordinary experience as you ride your camel or hop in a 4×4 vehicle and venture into the beautiful pink sand of Morocco’s highest sand dunes. Take your time to wander and explore the sand dunes before settling down to watch the captivating sunset. As the evening descends, indulge in a delicious Moroccan cuisine dinner and enjoy traditional live music around the campfire.

Engage in conversations with locals, embrace the rhythmic rhythms with drum lessons, or enjoy the tranquil desert setting. You will spend the night in comfortable Berber tents, surrounded by the peaceful silence of the desert. Enjoy stunning views of the Milky Way stretching across the pitch-black night sky, and if you’re lucky, you can also catch a glimpse of meteors, adding a touch of magic to your desert experience.

Day 5: Offroad Discovery Tour + Tea with Nomads

Upon your request, our attentive staff will wake you up at dawn, ensuring that you do not miss the magical sunrise scene in the desert. Watch in awe as the vibrant colors of the sand create a stunning contrast with the dunes, painting a stunning palette of shadows. You will have breakfast after experiencing this magical moment. After breakfast, take some time to relax before embarking on an exciting off-road 4×4 tour, providing you with an immersive desert experience. Start by meeting and interacting with desert Bedouins in their traditional tents, and gain insight into their unique way of life.

Next, drive across the high plateau of the rocky desert, enjoying panoramic views of the dunes and diverse desert landscape. Your journey will take you to the quaint “ghost town” of Mavis, an abandoned mining village where ancient eye cosmetics such as kohl and quartz have been excavated.

Here, you can also discover fascinating fossils of turtles, trilobites, ammonites, orthoclase, and the remains of creatures that inhabited this ancient sea millions of years ago. From geology to music, continue your exploration as you visit Khamliya, a town inhabited by dark-skinned Berbers.

Immerse yourself in the unique sounds of Gnawa music, performed by locals who are descendants of former slaves who migrated to Morocco from Senegal and Sudan via the Salt Route.

Enjoy a live performance of Gnaoua soul music and sample delicious homemade Berber pizza for lunch. Your journey continues to the Merzouga Oasis, where you can explore the community gardens and visit the Bedouin warehouse. We drive to Riyadh to stay overnight.

Day 6: Merzouga - Fes

We begin our journey to Fes, passing through Errachidia and the picturesque Ziz Valley with its difficult passage. Along the way, we passed Midelt, a bustling commercial center surrounded by a vast agricultural landscape. The trek also takes us through cedar forests, famous for being home to a unique subspecies of Barbary macaques known as Macaca Sylvanus.

Our next stop is Ifrane, famous for its Alpine-style architecture, nearby ski slopes, and pristine forests. As we continue our journey, you will be captivated by the famous lion statue. In the early evening, we will arrive at your accommodation in Fes.
