Itinerary:

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

On the first day of your 10-day Moroccan holiday from Tangier. We pick you up from your accommodation, airport or port in Tangier. She is also known as the “Bride of the North”. The city is located in the northwest where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel.

First, we will explore the beautiful city and visit the Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel. Free time for lunch. Then we head inland towards Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Will stop for panoramic views. Finally, we will deliver you to your accommodation. Overnight at a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen

After breakfast, continue your 10-day Morocco holiday exploring the blue city of Chefchaouen. They are also known as Ash’oun, which means horns in Berber. The city is located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is famous for its buildings and alleys painted in blue and white. د

First, we’ll walk through the charming Old Town, which contains many beautiful, authentic blue doors. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon you can walk to the Spanish Mosque located on higher ground. Where you can see the breathtaking view of the entire blue city. Overnight in the same hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis Roman ruins - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, feel free to wander through the alleys of the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. Then we head to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is so well preserved that it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, in addition to beautiful ancient columns and arches.

After walking among the ruins, we traveled 30 kilometers to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes, the capital of Ismailia. We visit Bab al-Mansour, the basin of the Suani Cistern, the royal stables, the granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then we head to Fes. Overnight in Riyadh.

Day 4: Fes

We pick you up from your accommodation in Fes after breakfast to explore the city of Fes. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in addition to being the cultural and religious center of Morocco.

We start the day by visiting the Royal Palace Gate. Then the well-preserved medieval Medina, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud is the entrance to the old city. You will enter Medina with a local guide. Visit the Bou Inania School, the Nejjarine Spring, the tanneries, and finally the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University – the oldest university in the world. After that we leave Medina to visit the Jewish quarter “Al-Mallah”.

Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, your 10-day Morocco holiday continues south via Imouzzer. To visit the city of Ifrane, famous for its low temperature and snow as well as houses with Alpine architecture. No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering through the forest. We then continue to Midelt where we will have free time for lunch. Then we drive through the Tizi n Telghamt Pass, and along the Ziz Valley, with stops for panoramic views.

In the afternoon we reach the Merzouga desert. Where you sit in the hotel and enjoy sitting on the sand dunes at sunset. Then continue to the camp, which combines traditional Bedouin tents with the luxury of hotels. Where you can enjoy Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire, under a vast sky of stars. Day 6: Merzouga area - Bedouins - Lake Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Palm Grove

We devote the day to exploring the Merzouga region. The area has many wonderful sites, from sand dunes, wild lakes, mines and fossil areas to picturesque oases. Day 7: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

Waking up early in the morning is a must, in order to contemplate the beautiful sunrise. Free time to eat breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit the city of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a major commercial center in the region. Day 8: Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

We continue our trip to Kelaat M’Gouna to visit the Valley of Roses. The Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where local residents offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetics. Then we travel through the palm groves of Skoura and visit Kasbah Amridil. Then we arrive to Ouarzazate, where we visit the studios where famous films were filmed. Also visit Kasbah Taourirt.

Then we go to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The fortified village is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah also appeared in many films, including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. and TV series including Game of Thrones. After that we visited Kasbah Telouet. Then we continue on our way to Marrakech passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Will stop for lunch and take pictures at interesting places. Overnight on the road, Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech

After a warm breakfast, we will explore the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Quran Mosque. And a stroll through the largest traditional market in Morocco.

Free time to have lunch near Jemaa El Fna Square. Then you will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, which is the largest in Marrakech, and the Majorelle Garden. Transfer to your accommodation. Feel free to wander around Jemaa El Fna Square on your own.

Day 10: Casablanca Airport

We will transfer you from your accommodation in Marrakech. Depending on the time of your trip, we will drive to Casablanca and maybe visit the Hassan II Mosque if we have enough time. Then I drop you off at the airport. End of your 10-day Moroccan vacation from Tangier.
